Dear Shri Mukesh,
Subject:- Request for necessary repair.
It is for you kind information that your flat, now occupied by me needs certain urgent repairs. The flat requires a white wash besides painting of the window and the doors.
There is a seepage in the walls of the drawing room. As a result, the rooms remain damp and gives out an unpleasant smell. The ceneted floors have developed cracks. The plaster of the wall also need repairs. There are certain other minor repairs which i would show you on your visit.
The rainy season is about to set in. The things might get still worse then. Moreover, my younger sister's Marriage will take place next month. It would be odd and absurd to recieve the guests in the damp and the leaking drawing room.
The house has not been repaird for the last four years, ever since I occupied it. I hope you will view the urgency of the matter since the timely repairs would be in the interest of the flat, the landlord and the tenant. I would feel obliged if the repairs are (got) done at the earliest. In Case, I do not receive any positive reply from you within a week, I shall be constrained to get the repairs done myaelf and debit cost towards yoir rent account.
Should I hope you will accede to my request and proposal, keeping in view our inconvenience and cordial relations.
