1) IPV4 का पूरा नाम internet protocol version 4 होता है और IPV6 का पूरा नाम internet protocol version 6 होता है |
2) IPV4 1981 में start हुआ था जबकि IPV6 की starting 1999 me हुई थी |
3) IPV4 की leanth 32 बिट होती है जबकि IPV6 की leanth 128 बिट होती है |
4) IPV4 मे Section को dot( .) से (saperate) अलग करते है जबकि IPV6 में Section को डबल dot (:) से saperate करते है |
5) IPV4 की range 0 से 255 होती है जबकि IPV6 की 0 से 65535 ( FFFF) होती है |
6) IPV4 में total 4 Section होते है और हर एक Section 8 बिट का होता है जबकि IPV6 में total 8 Section होते है और हर एक Section 16 बिट का होता है |
7) IPV4 को numeric form में दर्शाते है जबकि IPV6 को alphanumeric form में दर्शाते है |
8) IPV4 को classes में define किया गया है जबकि IPV6 में classes नहीं है |
9) IPV4 में DHCP ( Dynamic host configration protocol ) को support करता है , जबकि IPV6 auto configration support करता है |
10) IPV4 broadcasting use करता है जबकि IPV6 multicasting का उसे करता है |
11) IPV4 में Header की leanth 20 byte होता है जबकि IPV6 में Header की leanth 40 byte होता है |
12) IPV4 में Header में total 8 field होती है जबकि IPV6 में Header में 12 field होती है |
13) IPV4 authentication और encription Process को support नहीं करता है जबकि IPV6 support करता है |
