Subject:Request for necessary repair.

It is for your kind information that your flat, now occupied by me needs certain urgent repair. The flat requires a white wash besides painting of the window and the door.There is a seepage in the wall of the drawing room.As a result, the room remain damp and gives out an unpleasant smell.The cemented floors have developed cracks. The plaster of the walls need repair. There are certain other minor repair which I would show you on your visit.

The rainy season is about to set in. The thing might get still worse then. Moreover, my younger sister's marriage will take place next month. It would be odd and absurd to receive the guests in the damp and the leaking drawing room.

The house has not been repaired for the last four years,ever since l occupied it. I hope you will view the urgency of the matter since the timely repair would be in the interest of the flat, the landlord and the tenant.

I would feel obliged if the repairs are (got)done at the earliest.In case ,I do not receive any positive reply from you within a week, I shall be constrained to get the repairs done myself and debit the cost towards your rent account .

Should I hope you will accede to my request and proposal, keeping in view our inconvenience and cordial relation?
